Robert Patrick and James Keach “Walk The Line”

One of the greatest evening HMS had was with Robert Patrick and James Keach talking about “Walk The Line”.

Synopsis

In 1955, a tough, skinny guitar-slinger who called himself J.R. Cash walked into the soon-to-be-famous Sun Studios in Memphis. It was a moment that would have an indelible effect on American culture. With his driving freight-train chords, steel-eyed intensity and a voice as deep and black as night, Cash sang blistering songs of heartache and survival that were gutsy, full of real life and unlike anything heard before. That day kicked off the electrifying early career of Johnny Cash. As he pioneered a fiercely original sound that blazed a trail for rock, country, punk, folk and rap stars to come, Cash began a rough-and-tumble journey of personal transformation. In the most volatile period of his life, he evolved from a self-destructive pop star into the iconic facing down his demons, fighting for the love that would raise him up, and learning how to walk the razor-thin line between destruction and redemption.

Enjoy this live Q&A with Robert Patrick and James Keach about Johnny’s Cash’s life, his father and making of the movie.

Absolutely fascinating.

CRUDE, CRASS, GROSS, HYSTERICAL “THE ARTISTOCRATS”

Some of the most hysterical clips from our live broadcast of “The Aristocrats”.  Bob Sages on banging his mother.  Andy Dick on being sober.  Jason Alexander on, well, actually his was clean.  Hollywood’s Master Storytellers had an incredible evening with the celebrities in the green room (actually it was red) at Mann’s Chinese Theater. We have super clean cut shows too. But this is a lot of fun.

Stay tuned as we work on our new site that we’re launching in two weeks and we get ready to relaunch our series, we’ll be sending you bits and pieces of our shows.  Feel free to “like” us on Facebook and we’ll keep you updated.  Enjoy and we’ll see you soon.
